What is Be You?
Be You is an interactive story about the cost of ambition. The launch life, The Independent Mogul, follows a fictional career shaped by attention, ownership, craft, wellbeing, relationships, and trust. It is not a personality quiz and it does not reproduce the life of a real celebrity.
Each decision changes more than a score. A promise can return several chapters later. A relationship can open or close a door. Repeated behavior can become a conviction, while pressure and overextension can make an attractive opportunity more expensive. The final legacy answers what the whole life built and what it cost.

A life moves through four simple steps. The decisions remain clear, while the systems beneath them remember what you chose.

Start the Independent Mogul life, the Daily Signal, or the weekly World Condition. Shared seeds create the same starting sequence for fair comparisons.

Choose how to protect the work, the people, your ownership, your wellbeing, and your reputation. No option improves everything.

What is Be You?

How do you play Be You?
Start a life, choose how to respond to each career and relationship dilemma, and watch the stage react. Earlier choices can change later opportunities, relationships, pressure, ownership, wellbeing, and the final legacy. There is no single perfect route.
Is Be You free, and do I need an account?
Be You is currently free to play and does not require an account. The game saves the active guest life to the browser and its protected server record so the same browser can resume. You must accept the Privacy Policy and EULA before playing.
How long does one life take?
A complete Be You life is designed to take about 8–12 minutes. Each life contains 20 decisions across a fictional fame career, followed by a legacy that reflects the whole path rather than only the final choice.
Do choices actually change the game?
Yes. Choices can create immediate stat changes, delayed consequences, named relationship effects, new opportunities, closed doors, and one of eight legacy endings. Shared seeds keep the starting conditions consistent while allowing different decisions to produce different lives.
Can I play Be You on a phone or laptop?
Yes. Be You runs in a modern web browser and is designed for phones, tablets, and desktop or laptop computers. It supports touch, keyboard input, reduced motion, muted audio, and a non-WebGL visual fallback.
Can I install Be You on my phone or computer?
Yes. Be You is an installable progressive web app. Use Install app when your browser offers a native prompt. On iPhone or iPad, open Be You in Safari, tap Share, choose Add to Home Screen, and tap Add.
Can I buy additional Be You game packs?
Not yet. The Be You Store previews planned fictional career packs, World Conditions, and cosmetic Chamber themes, but every pack is marked Coming soon and no checkout or payment collection is active.
Can I play Be You with friends?
Be You supports asynchronous challenge links rather than live multiplayer. A friend can enter the same seeded life, make independent decisions while the other answers remain sealed, and compare the resulting legacies after committing.
